Alrighty.

New job going more than fabulous! Annoying, bitchy, I-just-want-to-beat-you-til-you-shut-up-and-go-away costumers and random 13 hour shifts and all! Now what does that say about Safeway? lol One of my co-workers, Monica, gave me a lion charm bracelet because when I have a song stuck in my head and I don't know much of the lyrics I go to my default song. The one Zazu sings when in that cage..."I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts..." that one...

I am currently addicted to Sex in the City. Just started the series a couple days ago and between work and classes, I've been watching it. Currently on the second disk of Season 6 part 1. Hate you all Kiri, Ashley and Kristin!! Oh and I can't believe Stanford slept with a man with that many dolls...that's just...wrong.

On second day of classes. I have Intro to Cinema Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:10-5:30. Certainly will be an interesting class. Intro to Fiction on Thursdays 5:30-9:10. I already talked to Heidi (cinema teacher) and she's letting me leave early on Thursdays to get to me other class. That's today with Jenny. Four books for that class alone. Grand total of $140.40 for all me books. Thanks God, dad said that he'd still pay for books!

If at all possible, my laptop has gone down hill even more. So I wrote dad and asked if we could strike up a deal of him buying me a nice, shiny new one and I slowly...very slowly...pay him back. He's just going to buy me one for school. I don't think I've ever loved him more. I won't have to panic that my laptop will do the continuous re-start thing it has done several times before and loose all my papers. That wasn't fun the first time around.

I wrote I short...very shot...one shot fic. NCIS. So weird that it was inspired by the movie Enemy of the State with Will Smith. actually just one line in that movie. But I don't have it typed up yet, so maybe Tuesday I'll post it.

I can foresee tomorrow be total hell in the Deli. People and their last minute food shopping. Then all going to each other's houses for BBQs or going to the Fort. Ashley, Jason, Kristin and I (and maybe Michelle) are going to the I-5 bridge...lol. Down buy Joe's Crab Shack, and Beaches...and that third restaurant that I can never remember...Find the barge and stack claim. Lay out blankets and what-not and just wait for dark and fireworks. I swear, it's not Independence Day, it's National Party with Fireworks Day...lol Just can't wait for the day after and the discount fireworks. YAY! The dogs are not happy with this holiday lol

Our house is actually looking like a house!! I'm so excited! We have a couch and an area rug and matching runner going down the hall.

I don't know what I did, but I've apparently been a very good girl for getting *two* Thunder storms in one week!! The dogs weren't thrilled with the one this morning at 2:30, and I was so damn tired that I was having so serious issues staying awake to watch the lightning. But I managed!

and to end this rather long update. Kristin and I were stopped behind this car on the way to school with the license plate 'X-FILES' that was awesome.

Alrighty...

We are now a houseful of just girls. Matt moved out today. I'm actually excited and happy about it being just us three now. Though I am going to miss the cheaper bills...*shrugs* oh well

For the past couple months he's been acting a lot different. More angry and whatnot. He kept picking fights over the *stupidest* things with Ashley...(music was one of them *eyeroll*) She couldn't take the fighting anymore and has been telling him that she's tired of it, physically as well. So they officially broke up two days ago, and he said he'd be out by the end of the week. He's mostly gone today.

Makes me happy we didn't go for that other house...cause then it'd be Ashley, Kristin, and me moving and not him...Could you just imagine that? Us three trying to find a new place, that would fit us three, three dogs, and two cats...does the hamster count? Damn that'd be a bitch...

Our living room is so empty, and since ripping out the carpet, it echoes more now...lol. All we have now is my papasan chair, no way are we bring the brown couch back...*shudders* the dogs have definitely ruined that thing. I foresee couch shopping soon...hopefully there's some *really* cheap ones out there...

I don't exist!

I came to Clark College to use the internet. Free wireless. (since we still don't have internet at home thanks to dumb-ass fucking it up for us with Comcast) And it said to login so I can get sites other than the Clark web page. Since I don't know what that would be...I clicked on the Password Reset to get a new one. Had to type in my Student ID # and my PIN...well apparently I have the right PIN...it's my SID that's not there. I don't exist in the Clark system apparently...

It said that if I registered today that I should try again later today or come back tomorrow...well since I registered for Summer Term on May ninth and Fall Term a week or two later..I'm not seeing why I'm not existing...

I called landshark1129 for help and that took like 20 minutes with my phone and Hannah Hall decided to hang up on her every time I leaned forward...or moved in general. So after laughing at me every time she called back after I lost her, she let me use her login and password, so here I am! Woot! I exist through other people.

So sometime soon I get to go to Gaiser Hall and say "i iz eetarded" and have them tell me what all that is, so I can exist! I like existing...I've become quite accustom to it. Existing is fun...most the time...

Alrighty, lets start from the beginning.

Wednesday, May 21, 2008
I worked my normal 4 hours at my Safeway then floated my little ass over to another store to finish out my 8 hour shift. So when that shift was over at 4:30pm, I clocked out and was walking out to my car. I passed a lady who works at that Safeway and she asked me if I was the owner of the Green Van. I said "........yes......." and thought 'Well shit, my car better not have been broken into again. Fuck!' Then she informed me that my back left tire was flat. Phew! Now that I could handle...til I had no clue where my spare tire was. Cause it wasn't in my trunk...So I had to call Al to ask him. Under the car. Wouldn't have thought of that. But I didn't have the tools to change the tire so he came out to help me. (apparently I'm just blind, cause I did have the tools...lol) Tire changed, went home.

Kristin took it in the next day for me to get a new tire. Free baby! Me likey!

Friday, May 23, 2008
Worse frakking day! lol... I got a drop shipment, so to speak, of bread so I had a ton of bread to work out. Took me forever!! Didn't get into the bakery til about 10:30. Then I was told that I had to stay the 8 hours there and not to go to the other store because Antoinette, our second sales girl, called in sick and at noon I was to switch from being Baker with Jeff to sales girl with Marlene.

This day taught me never to answer my phone when a parent calls me at work.

I hid in the corner to answer and soon regretted it. Great Grandma Jesse Boyle, 98 years old, had died that morning. Memorial service on Sunday. The rest of the day wasn't fun.

Saturday, May 24, 2008
Definitely helped to make up for previous day. Went with Kristin and saw Mates of State, Decemberist, and Death Cab for Cutie down in Bend. Longest most boring four hour drive! Full of fields, moo-cows, and moo-cow horses. But there were some pretty damn funny road signs (and whats with adding 'wood' to the end of some of them? They just not getting any so decided to make the signs hard? lol)

Blue Box Pass. Was one of the signs. It was on Mt Hood near Timberline Lodge. We saw it on the way there and was going to steal it on the way back, but lacked tools to do so. Next time. We'll just have to take a day trip just to steal it.

Wimp Way. Took a picture of this one on our way home. (Would have passed it if a car in front of us hadn't turned onto it and flashed it's headlights onto the street sign.) Funniest fuckin thing. Laughed for the longest time. By this point we were about 25 minutes from Bend and so unbelievably bored that the simplest things amused us.

Now the one that got us the most wasn't a street sign. It was the name of a Motel, and we *searched* forever on out way home for it. We are definitely horrible at that game. "It's in this town" drive through the strip *twice* and never found it. Same with two other towns after that. Seriously, how can you loose a big neon pink (though Kristin says blue...so that wasn't helping things, thinking it was two different colors) sign that said

Hub Motel

Really wanted a picture of that. Hub Motel and the Blue Box Pass. Since we've already decided to drive back up to steal the Blue Box, we're going to continue on and find the Hub and stay in it. (and take lots of pictures, cause we're major nerds like that.)

The concert itself was fantastic! Though it was outdoors, and rained, well drizzled through Mates of State. The Decemberist and Death Cab were rain free, but got a little chilly. Learned a lot too. Like Lewis and Clark founded Bend, OR on their way over and gave the natives Chicken Pox...news to me...lol

Sunday, May 25, 2008
Grandma Jesse's Memorial/Funeral. I don't want a funeral. The Minister who spoke was so general about everything that it really annoyed me. Me and my sister, Kiri, were signing discreetly to each other, but I was having issues with the whole reading finger spelling that she just started spelling things out on my thigh. What a time saver. lol. I couldn't believe how long he could babble about, pretty much nothing. And the only time he talked about anything about Grandma Jesse, he apparently got some of the info wrong. *eyeroll*

Now for the rest of the week, not much. lol

Today was my last day at Safeway!! Yes! FREEDOM FOR LIFE!!! I felt so special, Buck bought me a flower for my last day. Lots of hugs and promises to visit. Start at Fred Meyer on Tuesday at ten for Orientation and paper work. Work a 4 hour learning shift on Wednesday. More orientation on Thursday. Then Cashier training on Saturday. Fun fun.

House/dog sitting til Monday for mom and Al while they're in Illinois for Grandma Jesse's actual funeral.

<lj-cut text="I hate it when I'm right">SO! Bones last night...I totally called it! and I was just joking around! They said that the apprentice person for that cannibal guy (Gormagon? Gormigon?) would be someone unexpected. They were suspecting Jack and Sweets (cause lets face it, they are pretty damn good candidates) So at the commercial break of first suspecting Jack, I went to Kristin's room to say how funny it'd be that they're suspecting these people, and it turned out to be Zach. Now, come on, who would suspect sweet, adorable, naive little Zach? Damn I hate it when I'm right...fuckers! lol Now what's going to happen with Zach? He still going to be on the show next season? I thought at first it might be like that one show, where the season became a dream to bring back one guy they killed off in the middle. This episode was a fucked up dream Booth was having after being shot....that was until I came here to mom's and saw the beginning...then again it's still possible...I'm going to stick with this line of thinking...(is this why they added the guy who plays Sweets to the opening credits? Because they need someone to take Zach's spot? GAH!!) And Booth is hilarious and so adorable when taking a bath. All men should take baths with bear hats, music blarring, and comics about the Green Hornet?...(that his name?)

And as for House! Dear lord! I don't even like Amber and that was the most depressing thing ever! Though I didn't cry or get teary through that whole ordeal. That happened when Wilson was in House's room, then House woke up and Wilson left, with Cuddy asleep in the chair next to his bed. I hate how Amber is probably right that Wilson hates House. And especially after House almost killed himself to save Amber! And when House was in that chair, and crying! Gah! I think that this was my favorite episode with Amber...how morbid is that...lol OH! and Thirteen!! God, can no one win in this episode? Seriously...And what is her name? Do we even know? We got a last name at some point from Cuddy using it, but do we have a first? Even the sites call her Dr. Thirteen...lol

What is up with my finales lately? *sniff*

Torchwood kills off main fuckin characters! How can they come back from that?...my logic is faulty in reasoning them coming back

CSI killed off a main person. Fuck! I really like him too! And just when the show was getting really good with Sara gone! Why couldn't she have been the one they killed off?

Though I haven't seen it yet, I'm sure Stargate Atlantis sucked as well, though by the sound of it, it would be interesting, and very John/Rodney!!...but...they killed off Carson last finale, how can they top that this time?

I haven't seen NCIS, Desperate Housewives or Brothers&Sisters yet either, but if they have done anything evil like everyone else seems to be doing I'm going to be pissed! lol

Then again, I need to see the second half of Desperate Housewives and Brothers&Sisters. And I'm sure there's more...but that requires me to remember those right now...and I'm still reeling on last night...lol Is it time for new episodes yet?

I'm scared for this finale of Doctor Who when it comes...lol BUT we're going to have the new trio and the old trio, so I'm excited scared...lol</lj-cut>

In other, related, news!

INDIANA JONES AND THE CRYSTAL SKULL MIDNIGHT SHOWING TOMORROW NIGHT!!!! YES!

I'm so screwed at work after...lol But that's not gonna stop me! hehehehhehe

So haven't had internet since Wednesday. I feel so deprived. I miss my internet.

So as part of me getting my new (and slightly improved) job, I had to be in the Hazel Dell Parade yesterday on the Fred Meyer Float. (we won second for best float!) Best part was throwing candy at children. Worst part, it was 96 degrees and we were in the sun from about 8am to 2, with the occasional shade between 8 and 11. I had one coffee and 7 bottles of water yesterday. One when I went to pick up Catie before the parade. 4 while in the parade. and two throughout the day after. I've never had to pee so much! lol And with the freak weather of the Great Northwest, I now look like a cherry tomato... And the collar of my work shirt was really pissing off my neck today. And now my chest and neck burns because I was forced to put aloe, the 'real' stuff...as in snap a piece of the plant off and rub it on the burn, on and I don't think the burn liked it much. I like my bottled aloe much better.

I'm going to have some crazy lookin tan lines...

Oh and I have no clue when we're getting internet back, so I guess mom will be seeing a lot more of me in the near future...(*cough*like tomorrow*cough* lol)

I've missed you all...and I've missed my fics. lol *huggles*

Got the puppy glare and all.

They've been outside all day, it was rainy, therefore they got muddy and needed to be bathed. Well it probably would have gone over better if they got their baths in, at the very least, warm water. But after Matt did the dishes, all that was left was luke-warm, quickly fading to cold water. Poor Jack went second, and was shivering by the end of it.

I'm a horrible mommy and auntie...

(but at least they can sleep with me tonight, now that they're clean and don't have the bad puppy smell...so that should redeem me some...right?)

Hokay so...

Tonight was mine and my sister's birthday dinner with the Grandparents.

Fuckin' Hilarious!

You probably don't want to know this, could go the rest of your lives not knowing this and be perfectly happy, but you have to know this to understand part of the conversation, that just made the night.

At one end of the table was David (my sister's boyfriend), Jenny (my friend) and me. Then the other end was Grandma, Grandpa, and Aunt Michelle, and Kiri sat next to me.

So the part you need to know but probably don't want to: For my birthday my sister gave me 'toys' . Two in fact, and some body powder stuff, that actually tasted pretty good lol So there I was hiding each item under the table...because she's having me open them up *in* a restaurant, and wrapping them back up and putting them back in the bag.

Now for the part that needed you to know that. So somehow we got to talking about the fact that when I was a senior in high school, my step-mom took me and my little sister berry picking one day and basically told me that is if I so desired to have a same sex relation (and she was hinting at my best friend Kristin) that her and my dad would be fine with that. And how after she said that I immediately called Kristin and told her that while laughing my ass off. And also how my other sister, Ashley, always introduced her friends to me as "This is my sister Kayla, and her lesbian lover Kristin." and how we would just wave and five minutes later go "Did she just...? Whatever"

Then I told them (them being David and Jenny, with Michelle listening in occasionally...) that I couldn't have any relations with Kristin, because both Kiri and Ashley want their beige and the only way they'd get that is if I dated my friend Ryan (who is black). Then Kiri pointed out that he was damn sexy, which he is. (and by this point everyone is listening...so how all but Jenny and David missed this next part I don't know) So I said that I should just date Ryan now, since the last time we 'almost' dated, he ended up having a long distanced girlfriend, so I didn't pursue anything. Now, we're in a small little restaurant. It was kind of quite when I said this, without realizing til after I said it, who I said it in front of...Grandparents and a highly religious aunt. "Well if I dated him I would need my 'toys' anymore now would I?" Hand flew to mouth to stop flow of speech, Jenny and David burst into laughter. Other end of the table asking what I did, with all three of us telling them they *really* didn't want to know...and the conversation went downhill from there...quite literally. We became the 'Inuendo Squad' for the remainder of the dinner. And the fact that Jenny and I were sharing a cream puff wasn't helping things. the 'cream' part of the puff became a food fight between us and not just a messy/dirty fight but a dirty/dirty fight

It's probably not that funny now. Could be one of those "you had to have been there" things (or maybe just a "you have to be mentally retarded like us" thing) but either way, it kept us entertain throughout the dinner. I turned so red. And I don't blush easily. Or really at all, because my cheeks are naturally pink so if I *do* blush, you can't tell, but this time you could. But I don't think it would have been as hilarious if it wasn't done in front of my Grandparents without there knowledge.
